Tree to 20m. Distribution: Foothills to highland rainforest from Eungella Range CE Queensland to Cape York. The cut seed has a distinct smell of nutmeg & may be ground & used as an inferior substitute. Fruit eaten by musky rat kangaroos, cassowaries, Victoria’s riflebirds and fruit pigeons.
